This looks good to me overall. The one concern I have is this concept of a "promotion", which is new to me. We've previously talked about having a category tile that was a "promotional" category and would work similarly to what is described in the PRD. I would suggest that we stick with that.
Exchanging app tiles for promotions is breaking consistency in the design which results in lesser usability. A user should know and understand what will happen when they tap a particular element in the UI, and when we have tiles that look similar but do different things (go to app details page vs promotional list) we confuse users. If we make the promotions into a category we can keep it visually similar to the category tiles and keep the UI consistent. What are your thoughts?
