Browser elements outside of browser (pdfviewer, webapp-uninstaller, webapprt)

I don't know if it's the same for you, but following all these folders
outside of browser/chrome is becoming really difficult.
Is there a specific reason behind this layout?

The rationale is likely that those are not really browser-chrome, but
non-chrome features shipped as part of firefox. Many of those projects
would likely love to get infra like "oh, pdf.js should have its l10n on
github" or something.

Also, I think that browser/foo is still in browser. Is that one dir
really a practical issue?

I realized that I'm probably not using Mozilla Translator properly (I
was using the setup created by the previous Firefox's owner), so it's
likely just a problem on my side.

Yes, I tried it just after writing that message and it works (a bit
messy, for some reasons it didn't import back an entire file). I went
from 5 products to 1.
I tried it also with mobile and, well, everything exploded :P

Hi!

I have several "products":

1) browser/locales/en-US as Firefox
2) services/sync/locales/en-US as Sync

(and others about Fennec: android, android-base, common and XUL, yes,
4 just for Fennec!)

My approach is to copy all en-US files to an ab-CD scheme (using a
script, of course).

This way mobile uses only one product.
