Calendar builds?

Hi list,

One of our team members responsible for localizing Calendar wants to
try the localization but we're unable to find builds for Lightning or
even Sunbird.

AFAIK there are only builds for Sunbird[1] and they seem to come from
l10n-central, since we have committed our work to l10n-mozilla-1.9.1
and although the build listed in the dashboard is green[2], we don't
have packages on the FTP server.

Now, I have some questions regarding Calendar and the builds:
- What's the reasoning behind having only Sunbird builds if
development will be focused on Lightning?
- Where's the next release coming from? l10n-mozilla-1.9.1 or l10n-central?
- In case the next release comes from l10n-central, why the dashboard
reports the status for l10n-mozilla-1.9.1?
- In case the next release comes from l10n-mozilla-1.9.1, why don't we
have builds for those repositories?
- Are there any differences in what calendar l10n refers between
l10n-mozilla-1.9.1 and l10n-central?

Obviously we want to work on the next stable release, and it's far
from ideal having to keep updated both repositories in order to have
builds to test.

I hope somebody can make us these points clear.

The builds come from l10n-mozilla-1.9.1. Your locale (eu) not having
current builds is a bug (which I just file - bug 494299).

The reason is that we have not yet figured out how to do daily localized
Lightning builds. We're working on it, though.

I don't understand the question. Care to elaborate?

I was just wondering if the l10n work diverges between 10n-mozilla-1.9.1
and l10n-central.

We are currently only working on the mozilla-1.9.1 branch, so you just
working on l10n-mozilla-1.9.1 is fine right now.

However, I would suggest that you follow Axel Hecht's (Pike) instructions
from
http://groups.google.de/group/mozilla.dev.l10n/browse_thread/thread/a49e49518480c022/2d8d5b71e1513316#2d8d5b71e1513316
so that you can regularly sync your work with l10n-central by doing a "hg
push central" every few weeks.

That way you ensure that all your work makes it to l10n-central as well,
once that becomes the focus point again.
