Hi.

Just noticed, that pdf.js has its own l10n directory on GitHub
<https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/tree/master/l10n>. Do you know, how the
strings are exported from hg.mozilla.org repos and what happens to
contributions done directly to the GitHub repo? I see there some
contributions for Czech and just want to know, what might happen to them.

pdf.js is exposed for localization to Mercurial

There are periodic updates, e.g. the last one to version 1.3.42
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1228603

The only thing exported are en-US strings and code, translations in
GitHub are not used inside Firefox. Not sure if they're used somewhere
outside (stand-alone packages).

From what I can tell, the l10n dir is from upstreaming Firefox
localizations into pdf.js.

I'd be surprised if the pdf.js team took contributions outside of that,
and if they did, nothing would happen to them as fas as the version in
Firefox goes, likely.

Also, this is more of a question for the pdf.js team than an l10n question.
