The process is following: after you translate buttons/banners text on
etherpad links stated below, our designers are going to build buttons
with that text, and then give it back to you for a review. After you
agree with overall look and feel, we're done. In case you dislike what
you've been given, we'll work more on that and give it another go.
That said, there are 2 etherpads where you can add translations. First
one is for mobile buttons >
http://etherpad.mozilla.org:9000/ff-mobilebuttons-l10n , and second one
is for plugins > http://etherpad.mozilla.org:9000/ff-plugin-l10n . At
the beginning of the page you'll see the template to translate. Please
add your translations below.
In case you need any help with it, don't hesitate to write here or
contact Stas or me via IRC/emal.

A lot of l10n effort has been put into Firefox 4 buttons, but AFAIK only a
couple of them were created eventually:
