Hi,
I've just seen that Lightning 1.0b1 has been released: great job!

I'd like to know how do you choose the revision from the l10n hg repo to
include our translations in the xpi. I'm asking this because I made some
QA 5 days ago but I've noticed that this chance hasn't been included in
1.0b1:
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/it/rev/d7dd0fd4f24b
(the access key change).
Am I pushing my changes on the right branch (1.9.1)? Can you explain me
why that change hsn't been included, so I know what to do next time?

thanks,
Iacopo

I can only look at sunbird 1.0b1, and the latest changes to that seem to
have been pushed on dec 10th,
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-1.9.1/pushloghtml?changeset=92f94a04799e.

There is usually somewhat about a week plus between the generation of
the builds and the actual release. In that time there are a bunch of QA
steps and website preparations etc.

Not sure how this maps lightning, but I guess it pretty much does.

What we did with Lightning was to take the l10n revision at the time that
we wanted to prepare builds, which was at the end of November.
Unfortunately due to issues on the release engineering side it basically
took us nearly three weeks to get the builds to a releasable state.

That basically precluded taking l10n updates along the way.

Sorry
Simon

Hello, Simon.

Will you be taking l10n updates before final release of Sunbird 1.0 ?
Will there be some kind of formal Opt-In ?
