En la vikio estas instrukcioj pri aperigo, oficialigo, kaj administrado
de nova traduko: <https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Home_Page>.
Laŭ Vikipedio, jam ekzistas neoficila traduko (versio 2.0.4) ĉe
<http://seamonkey.eozilla.de/>, sed la TTT-ejo nuntempe ne atingeblas de mi.
Teĥnikaj instrukcioj pri tradukado troveblas ankaŭ en

There are instructions on starting and maintaining a localization in the
wiki: <https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Home_Page>.
According to Wikipedia, there is already an unofficial localization
(version 2.0.4) at <http://seamonkey.eozilla.de/>, but that site is not
available for me at the moment.

jes, mi vidis ĝin kaj eĉ, hm, kiel diri? "paĝosignigis" ĝin, kaj ankaŭ
iajn aliajn ligitajn de tie.

Mi sukcesis afiŝi ĝin, kaj aspektas, ke ĝi enhavas (inter aliaj)
kompletan lingvopakon por Sm 2.0.4. Mi ne testis ĝin, ĉar nun mi estas
uzanta (ĉiutage) la lastan 2.1a3pre.

Hm, jes, ankaŭ tie mi trovis kelkon da interasaj paĝoj.
Laŭ mi la afero disvolvu sin venonte en du direktojn:
- ĝisdatigi la lingvopakon por 2.0.5 kaj akceptigi ĝin kiel oficiala
- komenci la tradukon por la venonta 2.1: eĉ se la "frazara frostigo"
por 2.1.0 "fina" estas ankoraŭ malproksima, mi ne supozas, ke oni povus
ĉion traduki dum la lasta semajno antaŭ la publikigo.
Ĉiukaze, iu homo kunordigu la laboron de la teamo: ekz-e, estus ne
utile, ke du homoj komencu, tion ne sciante, la tradukon de la sama sliparo.

Yes, I saw that, and even bookmarked it, as well as some others linked
from there.

I could display it, and AFAICT it includes (among others) a full
language pack for Sm 2.0.4. I didn't test it, because what I'm using now
(day-to-day) is the latest 2.1a3pre.

Hm, yes, there too I found some interesting pages.
IMO the work should now progress in two directions:
- update the language pack for 2.0.5 and have it accepted as official
- start translation on the upcoming 2.1: even if the string freeze for
2.1.0 final is still far away, I don't think that we can translate
everything in the last week before the release.
In any case, someone should coordinate the team's work: for instance it
wouldn't be useful for two people to unknowingly start translating the
same file.
