[Event] Ramadan Localization Days

Hello everyone,

I'm Manel from Mozilla Tunisia, I am super excited and glad today to talk
to you about a previous online localization event that we ran during the
complete month of fasting, Ramadan.
We named it "Ramadan Localization Days".
The goal of it was to localize four Mozilla projects to Arabic, each one of
them lasts for one week.

The event was split into sprints; And since it was a whole month, there
were 4 of them, and each sprint took place during one week of the month.
The process of reviewing took place during every weekend of each week.

This is how the event was scheduled:


- *Sprint 1 (30 June - 06 July) : Mozilla Appmaker*


- Localization Week: 30 June - 04 July


- Review Weekend: 05 & 06 July



- *Sprint 2 (7 July - 13 July): Mozilla Developer Network*


- Localization Week: 7 July - 11 July


- Review Weekend: 12 & 13 July



- *Sprint 3 (14 July - 20 July): Mozilla Marketplace*


- Localization Week: 14 July - 18 July


- Review Weekend: 19 & 20 July



- *Sprint 4 (21 July - 27 July): Mozilla Webmaker*


- Localization Week: 21 July - 25 July


- Review Weekend: 26 & 27 July



And even though not every project got completely localized, this at least
was an initiative for future contributions in projects that were not
localized to Arabic before.

thanks for sharing this.

It'd be nice to hear a bit about how that felt for existing
contributors, casual contributors and new ones. Were there differences
between the pieces you chose to localize?
