Hello localizers,

New locales have been enabled under appstores in Pontoon [1], in order
to expose content needed for the listing pages on the Play Store. In
fact, we recently realized that the Play Store supports more locales
than we initially thought [1].

These are the locales that now have access to these files:

• bn-BD
• eu
• gl
• hy-AM
• is
• ka
• kn
• lo
• ml
• mr
• my
• ta
• te

As usual, you can also find all this available on GitHub [3].

Please note that Pontoon doesn’t show errors for strings that are too
long, so remember to regularly check your locale’s webdashboard [4]
(btw I see a bunch of locales are over limit here:
https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/langchecker/?action=errors ;) ).

It’s also worth noting that if the strings are too long, then your
work won’t get picked up by the Play Store.

At this point, please don’t worry about the deadlines for these
strings - it’s better to just try and catch up the best you can :)

And sorry for any confusion or frustration this may have caused!

Thank you!
delphine
