any idea on how to get the spam our of the way?

"we're not amused" - it's getting above my comfort level. Maybe a
blacklist, we could all subscribe to? I am sure also that Google
itself (themselves) can offer a solution. Or move it to some more safe
and silent place?

It is just I have enough noise to handle and need no more.

Any ideas?

apparently tricky to get the implementation implemented.

At least their gmail spam filtering seems to be doing a good job, I
don't recall getting any spam from this list.
