Axel, I know there is a bug tracking the automation of which languages
get released, but without understanding the internal workings of the
release code the bug is Greek to me.
I'm sure Swahili is not the only language affected.
Could I get a human interpretation of that bug for me and whoever else
is impacted. I really want to know what was the probability of Swahili
getting into Firefox 5. If its not good then I'm going to make the l10n
drivers be the bearers of bad news on that one! The Swahili team worked
really hard and are in limbo now with no idea of when they could
actually get out the door.
A number of other teams have started on Pootle, Wolof and Fulah, and I
fear that they might also be impacted. So some idea of progress could
help me align their expectations.

This is the current list of beta 5 locales:

What is the bug # you mention?
cheers,
Armen
Firefox 5 is wrapped up, and I'm glad that all the fx4 locales made it,
in some way, at least on Desktop. For now, it seems like we'll loose
Danish on Mobile.
That bug I've been talking about to you has been both landed and
unblocked, but I've got mid-aired by reality since then bad time. Things
that I expected to happen in two weeks from now happened this weekend.
Putting blame on this one on mozilla is totally fine, anything else is not.

Is it safe for me to assume that Swahili (sw) will be make it into the
Aurora 6 path?

We should be technically unblocked, I won't be in the office next week
though. The next migration of aurora to something is gonna be on July
5th, though, so that should work out.
