Search suggestions problems for Armenian

Guys,

There's some issue I'm observing since previous release.
If you select Google as search engine in search bar, and enter one Latin
letter, you get suggestions in Amharic language instead of Armenian.

I believe this is caused by messing country code for Republic of Armenia
"AM" and language code for Armenian language "hy". Such mistakes lead to
Armenian being messed with Amharic language, which ISO code is "am".

The problem is, I wasn't effectively able to understand if issue is
coming from our side (Firefox), or from Google itself.

Can please, someone look at this?

I can't seem to be able to reproduce this, but I kinda doubt it's us.

It'd be great if you could find a way to reproduce this with a shell
command, it could be that some google data center just behaves
differently to the rest. Also, nail down which version to which version
is actually showing this behavior. Possibly test old versions to narrow
down.

Worst case would be a spdy/https regression.

I've tried playing with this a bit more, and here's what I've got.

Using Wireshark I've got URL which Firefox uses for getting suggestions from Google.
http://suggestqueries.google.com/complete/search?output=firefox&client=firefox&hl=AM-hy&q=tr
And this request (with "tr" query) returns some short 2-3 letter Amharic words.

It will behave same way, if hl is set to hy-AM, or AM. But if you remove "AM" and leave only "hy", you may get suggestions starting with tr in English.

One more thing, work mentioning. If your query starts with Armenian letter, it will bring suggestions in Armenian, if it starts with Russian letters, you'll get suggestions in Russian, but if you have Latin-1 (English) letters, you'll get suggestions in Amharic, until you enter 4-5 or more letters.

So at this point, it looks to me more like a Google's issue (but again, I've spent just half an hour looking at this, and I know nothing more then this).

Oi mates,
For some reason I have the same problem with the Google search engine on Firefox. It displays suggestions in Amharic (Ethiopian) language and I'm from Romania. I have all the regional and language settings to en-US, I tried removing, restoring defaults, adding a new default google search engine but it still gives me suggestions in Amharic. (print screen: http://oi50.tinypic.com/m8nx34.jpg) I can't figure out how to fix it.
