Hi,
I have just opened a bug (465551) but I wasn't sure where to place it:
for sure (I think) it has not a well defined component to be placed in.
I think it would be a good idea to create a "localization" component in
each product which require localization, or to add a component for each
product which require a localization in the "Mozilla Localizations"
product. In this way, we would have a place where we can put bugs that
are not related to a specific locale (or to the en-US one, if you
prefer) but to a specific platform.

Otherwise, if a right component already exists, please teach me which
one it is!

bye,
Iacopo

For the bug that you filed, you'd either dig into the hg/cvs history to
find the bug that introduced the broken strings, and filed a proper
follow up bug. Or, you'd chicken out like me and just filed it in the
General component, waiting for someone else to triage the bug.

General is probably as good as it gets, as you really need someone to
triage these bugs to get owners for them. Creating a
Localization-specific group is likely just going to end up as a sink
without triage and traction, so not the best thing.

Ok, thanks for the info. Anyway, the strings are not broken: they just
miss comments from the beginning I think.
