[Needs Action] Please help fixing truncation bugs for v1.1 in your locale

As a follow-up to my previous thread entitled "v1.1 localization update", that discussed the major issue of truncated text throughout locales:
you can find the list of all truncation/overlapping bugs in this report here http://mzl.la/13RkY9H

As you can see, these bugs were filed either by locale or by component under Boot to Gecko. In this spreadsheet you can easily find every bug corresponding to your locale (whereas the report above doesn't show that clearly):

Please take the time to go through your locale's bugs and see for which bugs you might be able to find a work-around for the truncation issues, taking into account the following UX recommendations for localization:

Once that is done, please do a quick triage of the bugs that you were not able to find a work-around for, by taking into account these blocker guidelines:

You can then send me by email a list what bugs you consider as a blocker for v.1.1. Following the blocker guidelines, explain why this bug should be considered as a blocker in your locale. I will then review all these comments and consider nominating them.

Thanks for your patience and work on this. Unfortunately, this is time sensitive and if we want blockers to be considered for v1.1, there is not much time left... Sorry about that, things should go much more smoothly for the next versions. For any possible blockers to be considered, please send me back your comments by Wednesday, July 24th.

Again, sorry for this late notice. We would have contacted you sooner about this if it had been possible. As I said, we are working on finding better solutions to address this problem in future versions.

Any chance of getting Danish amongst the shipping languages?

Will the keyboard automatically follow the language so the Danish locale
will provide the user with a Danish keyobard?

I'm currently trying to figure out what needs to be done to ship an
additional locale, and keyboards are one of the biggest gaps right now.

We need patches for each keyboard to the keyboard app. That's one of the
things that comes with "OS", you can't pick up stuff. You gotta actually
do it.

Hi Delphine,

Thanks for putting together this list of truncation and overlapping bugs.
The Spanish l10n team has gone through it and checked out every bug has
been properly and promptly addressed and fixed as far as localization is
concerned.

Please let us know if there is something ​

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all those who have acted upon this and have sent me their reports for blockers. You rock!!! :D

So quick update concerning the status of all this:

* we can still accept bugs so you can continue working on them until the end of the week

* I've received 3 reports on blockers so far: German, Croatian and Slovak. Thanks so much :) I will act on them today. Others can continue sending me their reports until the end of the week

I forgot to mention that Spanish has finished because the Spanish bugs weren't filed under "locales" on the bugzilla report and therefore didn't appear visually here http://mzl.la/13RkY9H

One question: have you marked your bugs as Resolved in bugzilla? If not, please do, and I will verify them.
