[action required] Mozilla Summit 2013

Hi all,

Sharing the update from Mozilla:


Hello Mozillians,



This is a follow up note to the one we sent on April 2nd where we asked
you to update your mozillians.org profile if you were interested and
available to attend the Mozilla Summit. These instructions are intended
for volunteer Mozillians only, not staff. Since we sent that note, over
500 of you told us you were excited to attend (awesome!). And we know
there are more of you out there.



As a reminder, to be considered for an invitation, we need to know if
you are interested and available to attend the Summit by April 17th,
2013 (extended deadline). Details about the dates and locations are
here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Summit2013#Specifics .



Here is what you need to do. You must do both of these things by April
17th to be considered for an invitation to the Mozilla Summit 2013:



1.

Add your home country (where you'll travel from) to your profile if you
haven't already: https://mozillians.org/user/edit/
2.

View the Summit 2013 group and click the 'Join Group' button if you are
interested and available to attend the Summit:
https://mozillians.org/group/summit2013/


Only volunteers with mozillian.org accounts that have tagged themselves
to the summit2013 group will be factored into the names of prospective
attendees.

We will let you know if you'll be invited, via email, by the first week
in May. Selection criteria can be found here:

And, if you know someone who should be included and doesn't have a
mozillian.org account, here are instructions to invite them:


1.

Send the person an email invitation to create an account (the person
will automatically become vouched because you invited them):

2.

Ask the person to be sure to include their location on their profile.
3.

Ask the person to join the "summit2013" group: https://mozillians.org/
