Test the major update box

Hello Everyone:

Thanks to everyone who helped with translation of the "Major Update box" in bug 451128. Very excellent work!

If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your help in testing the update box that was just translated. We've created a wiki page with fairly explicit instructions. You can find out how to test your work here:

If you have any questions, please email me and I'll be happy to help or find someone who can. Our apologies for the late notice, but if you could find time to test it this weekend, that would be much appreciated. From what I hear, this should not take too long at all to test. Any problems, feel free to report them in the wiki. You'll see a section called "Bugs Found" where you can report bugs. The wiki page also contains slots for you to report your results in a "pass/fail" sort of fashion.

I'm beginning to test various languages on my Mac now. Hope you can help.

If someone needs help with these tests, I can make some other tests for
Mac and Linux in the afternoon (just let me know which locales).

I've followed instructions (2.0.0.16, new profile, mix of
compatible&incompatible extensions, beta channel) but checking for
update didn't find any for bg l10n. Bulgarian [bg] is not yet in
shipping-locales (but we hope to be for 3.0.2) so I guess this is the
reason. Is there some trick that can be applied so that upgrade for 3.0
bg is shown although it's not yet in shipping-locales?

We are not going to be able to try bg for this test right now. It will
be more feasible to wait for the next round of major updates testing, so
we can flip a switch so the major updates are generated and offered in a
testing channel for this locale.

I'll talk to a build person to see if there is any other way we can do this.
