Ah I misunderstood what you read, I thought you meant you wanted to
start translating these but I see you already completed.

Next step is usually for a Mozilla admin to start filing release bugs.
Axel perhaps?

Congratulations on your work here!

Several months ago in this mailing list we addressed the topic of adding
new localizations to Thunderbird and Lighning. Both projects are in a state
of organizational and technical change that make it difficult (if not
impossible) for us to be able to commit to adding new locales to the
project. That being said, the l10n-drivers have withdrawn from managing the
localization of those projects until we see organizational and technical
clarity on the path forward for each. Philipp Kewisch is working on
Thunderbird and may be more helpful to you.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Muḥend,

I am excited that you have made such great progress in localizing
Thunderbird and Lightning. It is indeed true that Thunderbird/Lightning
is not getting the same amount of support that Firefox is, as it is a
community-run project.

This may mean that there are certain delays given our volunteers need to
balance their day job and life events with the activity in their open
source projects. Nevertheless, we are very much open to adding new
locales and appreciate the work in the localization community.

As the community l10n driver for Thunderbird, I am your contact person
in case you have questions. You are welcome to post here as I read the
list, but if you have the feeling I may have missed your email or am
busy, please do reach out to me via direct email.

Thunderbird and Lightning are pretty much merged from a product
standpoint, but kept as separate projects for localization as some
localizers choose not to translate Lightning. I see you have made great
progress in both products though.

For the process, we try to stay as close to Firefox as possible. If you
should notice any differences that make contributing hard, let me know
and I'll see what I can do.

I hope this brings some clarity into the path forward for Thunderbird
and Lightning.

Kind Regards,
Philipp

Hi Jeff.

From a Thunderbird/Lightning perspective, what clarity are you looking
for?

And what concerns exist, so that we can address them and continue to
move l10n and l20n forward?

Thanks
Wayne
