Hi all,
we sadly had to take a plethora of respins for our upcoming minor
releases, so we need to do a new round of testing on those.

I pruned the 1.0.8 testing page
http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox1.0.8/L10n_QA, the results are partially
fixed, partially deprecated. The previous results are at
http://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=Firefox1.0.8/L10n_QA&oldid=22864

For Firefox 1.5.0.2, we'll need some testing, too, please report your
results at http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox1.5.0.2/L10n_QA.
For Mac, there are Universal Binaries available in the sub directory, if
you can test those, too, that'd be great, it's the first time we do
those. They will, for some (short) timeframe, be release candidates,
during that time we'll keep pushing the PPC bits. Please note
prominently on the wiki if you tested UBs for your locale.

These tests are part of our community QA and are padding the spot
testing done my MoCo QA.

For those that invested time into the previous 1.0.8 testing, we're very
sorry to ask you to redo this, but that's the sad fate of that branch.

We intend to do TB within a week after Fx, which we plan to release on
Thursday (which is not a press statement, so please don't quote me on that).

Thanks for your help

Axel and QA

Hi all,
we japanese team tested Firfox 1.0.8/1.5.0.2 on all platform. And I
found that Firefox 1.0.8 L10N builds' Extension Manager are broken on
Intel Mac.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333799

As far as I (Intel Mac) and my peer (PPC Mac) test:

en-US 1.0.8 on Intel Mac: OK
ja-JPM 1.0.8 on Intel Mac: broken
fr-FR 1.0.8 on Intel Mac: broken
ko-KR 1.0.8 on Intel Mac: broken
en-US 1.5.0.2 on Intel Mac: OK
ja-JP-mac 1.5.0.2 on Intel Mac: OK

ja-JPM 1.0.8 on PPC Mac: OK

So, I think this is only occur on L10N Firefox 1.0.8 on Intel Mac. But
I'm not sure this is Firefox's problem or just problem of my Intel Mac.
If you have Intel Mac, please check Firefox 1.0.8 L10N build's Entension
Manager.

If this also happen on other Intel Mac and if we support Intel Mac, I
think this is major resression and we have to stop release and respin.
