Dashboard with new compare-locales, dealing with warnings

I've just noticed that the dashboard features the new compare-locales
with warnings about missing variables.
In Italian we sometimes remove variables, typically when %S it's used as
a replacement for "Firefox" and as a subject in the sentence: for
example "%S will save cookies" becomes "Cookie will be saved", leaving
"by Firefox" as implicit and avoiding the problem of software
personification. Obviously we use this method as an extreme measure when
we're out of alternatives.
How should we deal with these warnings? We known that these variables
are missing but it's wanted.
BTW, thanks again for the great tool, it spotted several mistakes on my
side ;-)

I'll write a top-level post on this, too, but basically, as long as it's
a warning, you may be fine, and I don't expect the warning count to go
down to zero.
If you're purist and into awful hacks, you can make a zero width string,
%1$0.S for example.

Since I can always compare the list provided by Mozilla Translator with
the one in the dashboard, having these warnings is not a problem.
