[ANNOUNCE] String freeze date for Thunderbird 3.0 confirmed: September 29 2009

Hi guys!

As I already outlined here five weeks ago[1] the string freeze date for
the final release of Thunderbird 3.0 has been finalized. We will freeze
all strings on September 29 2009 at 23:59 PST[2].

No firm dates for the release of the first release candidate (RC1) of
Thunderbird 3.0 have been finalized, but localizers can expect a minimum
of 4 weeks time before the first release candidate will be made public.

I'll update on you on the final release schedule as soon as I discover
more.
