Hi all,

This week I had to reinstall my laptop with windowsXp due to serious
blue screen of death trouble.
All files were preserved on another partition, so these are save.
Now it's up and running and I reinstalled TortoiseHG. It has indexed my
local copy of fy-NL and it looks fine.
Yesterday I made some filechanges and wanted to synchronize them with
Mozilla.
First I started pageant, added my private key and typed the password.
All OK.
I have configured tortoise as described on:
http://www.pseudotecnico.org/mozilla/man/mercurial_l10n_windows.html
which used to work before the fresh install.
Now when I want to synchronize using:
ssh://***@***.c...@hg.mozilla.org/l10n-central/fy-NL/
I get the error:
/running ""C:\Programs\TortoiseHg\TortoisePlink.exe" -ssh -2
***@***.c...@hg.mozilla.org "hg -R l10n-central/fy-NL/ serve --stdio""
remote: Kan het opgegeven programma niet uitvoeren./(can not execute
given program)/
*** no suitable response from remote hg[command interrupted]/

Can someone please tell me what is wrong?
I already tried to pull a version and commit/synchronize, but get the
same error.

Kind regards,

Somehow this looks like it has trouble to find an ssh client on your
system. There's a similar report on
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=581f62ff0810161244t5ee24663q6dc8db4dddf82853%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=tortoisehg-discuss.

http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=48726002.8080300%40appropriatesolutions.com&forum_name=tortoisehg-discuss
maybe, too. Sadly, both went without real answers so far.

I don't really have any experience myself, I only installed tortoisehg
for visual inspection of repos, not to work with it :-/

Yesterday I had some issues with the hg server at mozilla.
Sometimes it were not replying.

Have you tried it again?

Maybe the fourth question on this page could help
http://tortoisehg.wiki.sourceforge.net/faq

Francesco,

You are the winner!
After installing this little program, I was able to commit again.
Thanks for pointing me to this.
