Okay. Pascal has now filed the necessary bugs as you can see on
http://l10n.mozilla.org/webdashboard/?locale=da
Please take a look at them and opt-in for TB 3.0.1 once you've
fixed the four TB website bugs.

I know that you guys are doing a great job, but I'd really like
to follow the process that Seth Bindernagel laid out for Firefox in
http://blog.mozilla.com/seth/2008/12/15/moving-a-locale-out-of-beta/
My main issue really is the public exposure to "normal" Danish users
and I'd like you to have at least one release with the beta label,
that you can use to gather wide feedback from the Danish user
community.

I have a *preliminary* timeline for Thunderbird 3.0.1 now:
Basically I will accept all opt-ins until January 5th 2010. I'd also
appreciate it, if those of you, who have not completed all the TB3
website bugs (there are quite a few locales that didn't complete them
yet), would do so until then.
Please see

note that es-AR has actually done all TB3 product pages; it is just
that this bug:

And we would like to opt in for final release if possible, not for beta
as you, Simon, suggested. We have had Kim, myself, Finn Srensen, Claus
Rasmussen, Jrgen Rasmussen, "Double-G", Erik Holst Trans, "jeje",
"Kulu", and possibly others, which I have forgot, testing the nightlies
and giving feedback. This is more than double the amount of active
testers we have had on any Firefox or Thunderbird prerelease, and over
half of them is from outside the Mozilla community, so if this release
deserves a beta stamp, then the current Danish Firefox 3.5 release would
deserve it even more.

Joaquim, this change broke your locale. Therefore I can#t take this
changeset for TB 3.0.1. Maybe you tried to follow a change that we made
on comm-central?
Please remember that Thunderbird 3.0.x releases come from the
releases/comm-1.9.1 repository, which is string frozen. In the (unlikely)
case that we would need to break this string freeze, we would publicly
inform the l10n community as early as possible about this.

The Thunderbird build team will start to produce TB 3.0.2 builds
on Thursday late in the afternoon. So if you have any last minute
updates that you want to see in TB 3.0.2, please post them here in

Just to let you know:
I'll continue to use this thread until Thunderbird 3.0.2 is released,
which is currently targeted at February 24th 2010. The l10n Freeze
for that release is 23:59 PST February 15th (next Monday).
Until then, please continue to opt-in here. After TB 3.0.2 is out of
the door, I will start to use the new l10n dashboard sign-off
functionality for TB 3.0.3 and onwards as well as for TB 3.1 beta1
and the following Thunderbird 3.1 releases.

As far as I remember, 3.0.2 opt-ins were supposed to go to this mail
thread, whereas 3.0.3 opt-ins were supposed to go to the new dashboard.
Thunderbird 3.0.2 is now released, however on
https://l10n-stage-sj.mozilla.org/shipping/pushes?locale=da&av=tb3.0 it
says "Signoff for Thunderbird 3.0 .2 da (open)" which really confuses
me. Where should I opt-in in order to get the changes into all future
releases of Thunderbird 3.0.x?
> Where do I update opt-in for Thunderbird 3.0.x?

Please be a little patient with me. TB 3.0.2 has only been out for
24 hours. I've just opened up the 3.0.3 milestone for all locales
and accepted a bunch of pending requests.
Please update your requests as you go along.
