just wanted to let you know that we'll start releasing localized Betas
of Firefox 4 after the first revision, avoiding numbers here.
The rationale is that the branch isn't cut yet, and the development has
a few items at risk, and it's just not a fair game for you guys to make
up for that.
We'll get a saner approach with proper branch and builds in good time
for the second revision, which should come quickly.
For those working on l10n-central, this means that you should continue
to advocate the nightly builds.
For those working on l10n-mozilla-1.9.2, or waiting for a decent setup
without branch hopping, you can safely wait for an upcoming
announcement, and we'll get your 1.9.2 work moved over to the new
branch, with a proper mozilla branch to work off of.
We will have a rather continuous flow of beta revisions, with l10n-merge
to some extent, so missing out in the first beta completely sounds
non-good, but it's better than shipping something without proper setup.
