give me some hints on seamonkey localization

Hi

if i want to localize seamonkey and if i have allready localized
Thunderbird and Firefox are there files that are common to Seamonkey.
For the moment allmost all files i have seen are the same. correct me if
i'm wrong

Hi,

SeaMonkey 1.1.x localization is not done from CVS, but from the actually
packaged chrome files (i.e. the .jar) and mainly via .xpi language
packs. There should be many files that are the same or similar as those
from Firefox and Thunderbird, but there's a good list of different ones.

For SeaMonkey 2, once we have machines to do that, we'll have the same
CVS-based process as the other apps and will be reusing the same files
from the core parts of the code/L10n. I'll announce here once we are
ready to take localizations on trunk for that.

No, Sunbird localization is done via CVS.

if that helps:

rq@sugar:/usr/src/mozilla/1_8 $ cat lt/calendar/CVS/Repository
l10n/lt/calendar

mozilla/calendar/locales/en-US

So, I use mozilla/calendar/locales/en-US/ for English strings, and have
l10n/lt/calendar/ for lt.
