Hi,
this morning I went through the new strings (75) landed on gaia-l10n.

Not sure if this will be useful, but I'm sharing a few links that I found
and explain some of these things.

Every code that you enter over your phones keypad that contains asterisk
(*) or hash (#) characters is an MMI code. MMI stands for
Man-Machine-Interface.
