One repository rools the all and tool interoperability

Hi.

I wanted to ask about one repository rules them all. What is the ETA, and
are we going to stay on hg.mozilla.org, or is there any change to move to
Github, where other repositories are?

What is the status to make Pontoon and Pootle able to work and sync both
with the same repository?

We'll keep using mercurial for these repos. There's a ton of
infrastructure, and also things like being able to build Firefox with
github being down etc.

Getting everything set up for this is on my goals this quarter, but I
haven't worked on this project in the past few weeks.

Pontoon is mostly there, pootle is catching up with the pootle fs work
that you see fly by every now and then when the mlo update notifications
get sent to this list. I know that flod did some testing, not sure where
we are exactly on the problems found.

Currently waiting for a few more fixes to land to continue testing.

Right now tests are limited to monolingual files, more precisely to
.lang files (mozilla.org).

Needed correction: .lang files are bilingual, i.e. include both source
and translation in the same file. The next step will probably be XLIFF
(bilingual as well), to end with Firefox repositories and its mess of
monolingual files.
