time update - extension

hey everyone,

hope you're all doing well :)

axel and i have asked mike beltzner for an additional 48 hours to
complete all the review work, testing support, etc. So we're
suggesting an *extension* on l10n deadline to Thursday 11:59 PDT.

it's possible the planned string freeze will also be a bit late, check
out http://wiki.mozilla.org/WeeklyUpdates/2008-04-07#Gecko_1.9 and
http://wiki.mozilla.org/WeeklyUpdates/2008-04-07#Firefox_3

for in-product pages, they need to be totally translated 4 days before
RC1 release to give Pascal and others enough time for review, so you
can opt-in without worrying about this being complete right now.

testing is still important so please keep telling us about that as you
opt in.

For those that don't know yet, you can see the web bugs for your locale
and subscribe to your locale rss feed on the web dashboard:

we have heard confirmation that l10n deadline can be extended to
Thursday 11:59 pm PDT. this happened today on gran paradiso call.
continue to opt-in etc and we have two more days :)
