Hello, When I installed Uzbek language pack, Avrora doesn't work after restart. Can you help me with suggestions?

Hi,
first of all: how did you create the language pack? Is it available
somewhere online to check?
If you launch Firefox from the console, do you see any errors?

So you should check the label called "switchToMetroCmd2.label", which is
empty

No idea how Pootle works in terms of language pack generation. It looks
like there's no fallback to English when a string is missing.

I think it does the usual l10n-merge stuff, but maybe the pootle didn't
didn't update the en-US aurora repo to catch up on bug 950730.

For commits to hg we drop untranslated entries.

For building from Pootle we should be using en-US, but I'll need to go
check. We essentially use the Mozilla langpack building infrastructure so
should just work but our repo on the server might be out of date.

OK found the problem, with a hint from Axel. The server en-US files needed
updating.

I've done that now.

@Akmal would you mind testing again for a new Uzbek language pack from
mozilla.locamotion.org

In Ubuntu it works normally, but In Windows problem. Maybe, problem with enconding. I used "'" simbol for ubuntu.

Hm, mysterious. There is shown a not defined entity error for
browser.xul, line 626, column 7. But I found the corresponding entities
in your language pack.

That means something is fishy in either browser.dtd or
browser.properties. You should
check every string containing the word "sync", in both files, for any
error (misspelling, any
special character slipped there illegally , et cetera). For instance, on
browser.dtd there are two
strings which might relate to your error:

<!ENTITY syncStartPanel2.heading "blah blah blah">
<!ENTITY syncStartPanel2.subTitle "bleuh bleuh bleuh">

Hopefully some of the devs might be able to narrow the focus here. Try
asking them on IRC.

But again, the language pack building system should take care of that.
