Hi everyone,
if you're localizing Mozilla Manifesto -- currently the page is
localized in 40 locales -- in the next minutes you'll find 5 strings
missing in your dashboard.

Changes are minimal, so you should be able to reuse existing strings
with little variations. Since I took the opportunity to put the existing
strings in the same order of the actual page, the diff may look scary.

Here's a list of the changes, in the .lang file you'll find both
versions of the string (old and new).

In case this is the last communication to the list, I wish you all happy
holidays :-)

*Principle 3*
OLD: The Internet should enrich the lives of individual human beings.
NEW: The Internet must enrich the lives of individual human beings.

should -> must

*Principle 4*
OLD: Individuals' security on the Internet is fundamental and cannot be
treated as optional.
NEW: Individuals' security and privacy on the Internet are fundamental
and must not be treated as optional.

security is fundamental -> security and privacy are fundamental

*Principle 5*
OLD: Individuals must have the ability to shape their own experiences on
the Internet.
NEW: Individuals must have the ability to shape the Internet and their
own experiences on the Internet.

shape their own experiences -> shape the Internet and their own experiences

*Principle 8*
OLD: Transparent community-based processes promote participation,
accountability, and trust.
NEW: Transparent community-based processes promote participation,
accountability and trust.

Removed comma before "and trust". Most locales should be able to just
reuse and copy the old localization.

*Principle 9*
OLD: Commercial involvement in the development of the Internet brings
many benefits; a balance between commercial goals and public benefit is
critical.
NEW: Commercial involvement in the development of the Internet brings
many benefits; a balance between commercial profit and public benefit is
critical.

commercial goals -> commercial profit.

Note that you don't have to remove the old string (it will be marked as
missing if you do).
Old strings will be automatically removed when we'll have enough locales
to enable the updated text on mozilla.org

Hi everyone,
first of all Happy New Year :-)

Quick update regarding the updated version of Mozilla Manifesto: so far
24 locales have completed the localization, but we're still missing 16
locales.

Before the end of this month this new version is going online on
mozilla.org, so we'll have to disable incomplete locales.
As explained in the original message [1], it's a very quick update, so
please take the time to look at this file in the next days.

Hi,
we currently have 26 locales completely localized, 14 still missing. At
the end of this week I'll disable the page for these locales, since the
updated version of Mozilla Manifesto has to be online before January 28.

Please take the time to look at this page. I'll send out a mail to some
localizers in the next hours, in case they don't follow this list.
