Hi everyone,

Today Greg, one of our PMs, reviewed all the new strings for the
Marketplace (marketplace.mozilla.org) and finalized the text. Once he
was finished I did our first string extraction in quite a while and the
.po files now include all of the new Marketplace strings - there were
about 400 new strings.

The site still isn't officially live - it's a closed beta. We hope to
have something to release in June. If you'd like access to the
marketplace now you can use your @mozilla.com address if you have one to
log in, or email this list and I'll add you to the whitelist.

Thanks,

Wil

FWIW, I think that all with vouched mozillians accounts at the time got
an invite already, nothing strictly bound to mozilla.com. If you're not
on it yet, do poke Wil, though.

Looks great.

But other languages do not appear Galician. We can translate into Galician?

Greetings.

The languages in the "Other language" dropdown are shown in their native
language to help people who get to the site in a language they don't read.

Hi

I don't understand this string:
#: mkt/inapp_pay/templates/inapp_pay/error.html:16
msgid "There was an error processing your payment. Please try again or
contact the app if it persists."
How can you contact an app?

Hey Jørgen,

I see what you're saying and agree it's a bit confusing, but it's not
clear to me what a great alternative would be. I'm CCing Greg so we can
keep a consistent nomenclature. Greg - should we be saying author? or
something else?

Thanks,

Wil

Hi,

When it's going to be ready on verbatim?

Regards.

I think you need to click the "update" button in Verbatim to pull in new
strings.

Good point.

Support email is a required field, so we can link to that as well. It's
much nicer if we show them how to report a problem than to just tell them
to figure it out on their own.

I'll file a bug to rename it to "author" and add a mailto link.

That being said, payment errors are probably our fault. I'd love to link to
a Mozilla mailing list, but I was veto'd :)

Should I fill a bug if I find some strings which I cannot localize at
this moment? Or is it not finalized yet?

Thanks

Hi,

You're welcome to file bugs. We started using podebug to highlight
incomplete areas, you can see it on the dev site:

https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/dbg/

That should help us get better completion.
