Firefox OS Vietnamese localization team update

Hi Vietnamese l10n team,

Hope you are doing well.

I am reaching out to you to get a sense of general status of Vietnamese
localization team, in regards to Firefox OS. I was looking at the
dashboards and it seems like not much localization work has been done
since 1.4 (https://l10n.mozilla.org/teams/vi#fxos).

In fact, we have heard of possible partner interest for Vietnamese
version of Firefox OS in the near future, which is why knowing a bit
more about community status would be very useful. Do you think it would
be feasible to catch up with 1.4 and onwards at the time? If so, what
time-frame would seem reasonable, according to you?

Please let us know if there is anything we can do on our side to help
ramp up localization work, if that is needed. We can for example try to
look for localizers that could help, or get a sprint going.

Thank you Delphine for starting this conversation.

I also would like to share with everyone the current status of Marketplace so we can allocate resources accordingly: https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/webstatus/mpstats/. Marketplace is a supporting product for the phone launch. There is a lot of work to be done, but they can be broken down by component and split up between teams.

Please let us know how we can get this started. If we need to have a team call to go over the details, let's do.
