Hi Flod & Team,
Thanks for your e-mail.
First up all it is really hard to accept to use only Pontoon and all of our
efforts in Pootle over few years gone for nothing . We as a Tamil Community
disappointed with Mozilla's Decision. To be frank that I lost my interest
after seeing Jeff e-mail. I know it sour fat. Anyhow we love our language
that will drive us..
Please proceed to move following projects to Pontoon,
1. Firefox Health Report <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/fhr/>
2. Firefox for Android (Nightly) <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/mobile/>
3. Focus for Android <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/focus_android/>
4. Focus for iOS <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/focus/>
5. Firefox for iOS 8.0 <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/ios/>
6. Firefox 56 (Beta) <
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/ta/firefox_beta/>
For remaining projects, will notify you on or before end of August 2017.
Thanks & Regards
Arun

> Hello,
>
> Thank you for all of your contributions to Mozilla localization within
> Pootle. I’m writing to make sure you’re aware that Pootle will be turned
> off starting 1 September 2017 (please see the official announcement here
>
https://blog.mozilla.org/l10n/2017/07/24/making-change-with-pootle/).
>
> We’re migrating all active locales from Pootle to Pontoon before then and
> need your help to ensure that we migrate your projects correctly,
> minimizing disruption for your work.
>
> The first project to be migrated is *Firefox Health Report:* migration is
> going to happen on *Monday, August 7*.
>
https://mozilla.locamotion.org/projects/fhr/
>
> If you prefer to move all remaining projects for your locale to Pontoon in
> one step, we can definitely accommodate that request. Just let us know and
> we’ll sync with you on when performing the migration: projects will be
> disabled in Pootle, and enabled on Pontoon. As a reminder: pending
> suggestions in Pootle will be lost, so they need to be reviewed beforehand.
>
> The only limit is that we can’t do this close to the deadline, given the
> number of locales affected and the fact that Pootle’s server won’t be
> available after September 1st.
>
> Here are a few things you can do to make the transition run smoothly:
> Log into Pontoon (
https://pontoon.mozilla.org ) with your Firefox
> Account. If you don’t already have a Firefox account, please create one.
> Process all pending suggestions in your Pootle projects (i.e., bring your
> community’s suggestion queue down to 0).
> Flag issues with Pontoon to the l10n-drivers so that we can triage them
> and address them in a timely manner. To do this, please file a bug here (
>
https://goo.gl/tRQzAJ ), or reach out to the l10n-drivers if you’re not
> yet comfortable with Bugzilla.
> Share this message with anyone in your community who may not be aware.
>
> Additionally, we will need to know whether to mirror the user rights from
> Pootle to Pontoon or if there are changes that need to be made. Unlike
> Pootle, Pontoon has three user types with specific rights:
>
> Contributor - authorized to make translation suggestions.
> Translator - authorized to review translation suggestions and submit
> translations.
> Manager - authorized to review translation suggestions, submit
> translations, and adjust the user rights of people within the community.
>
> We can set you as manager on Pontoon for your locale (if you aren’t
> already), and let you add other users with the proper translation rights:
>
https://mozilla-l10n.github.io/localizer-documentation/
> tools/pontoon/users.html#user-roles
>
> At the same URL, you will soon find documentation on how to use Pontoon as
> a translation tool.
>
> We realize that this change can be difficult and apologize for the
> inconvenience. Please count on us to provide support to you as you make
> this transition to Pontoon.
>
> Thanks,
> Francesco.
