Mozilla Products' Translation

Hi All,
Due to several known/unknown reasons, update work of Mozilla product translations, even for Firefox Aurora and web parts related to the browser, are very irregular. We all know, this is very crucial for Mozilla and for us as well. And it is true even for my language Hindi. I can finish on my own for Hindi but this is not just a good answer to the problem that whole work should depend on one or just two translators. A real engagement of community is necessary in doing any FOSS work and this way only we can solve the problem permanently. In Mozilla India Chaupal Meet, we tried to discuss some of the issues and decided to have one community meet up for each language depending on the need of the language community involved in translation.
I was discussing with Chandan Kumar about the problems related to Hindi language community. Long term solution is the need of the time, and in this context we need to expand the various type of contributors base, so that even in the rapid release cycle we can be able to submit all the translations including Firefox OS and Fennec. And I don't think it is impossible (Considering every second contributor of Mozilla India are localizer :-) ). So soon, we will come with a pilot plan for Hindi. Hopefully we will do Mozilla Hindi Community Meet soon. Chandan will soon write with further details.
