Hello.
Really why mozilla is using mailing lists? My inbox is very dirty because i revive many emails from various mailing lists which i subscribed, and all of those Topics are not valuable for me!

I think Google groups, or forums are better.
What is your solution?
How we can request a thing from Mozilla, that be heard?

Hi Amir,
You can unsubscribe from irrelevant mailing lists.

Hi Reza.
But you know the part of progress of l10n systems is subscribing in Mailing Lists.
For example last year, i tried to translate MDN(Mozilla Development Network). As result, i subscribed to Mozilla Development mailing list.
Now, I translated MDN(Specially MDN Ui), but this mailing list sending everyday other persons discussions to my Inbox!
Also I was in Fedora Project l10n team. Now Fedora l10n sending everyday emails for me.

The human beings making everything better, malimg list was for when new communities like Forums and Google Groups or Google+ Groups or Facebook Groups and wasn't available.
Using mailing list, don't show that Mozillians are very professional.
Now I and Kazem Ebrahimi using WhatsApp for communication, because it accessible!
I think if we make Facebook group, or Google+ Group, or WhatsApp Group and introduce in Persian team Wiki, this will be a invention between L10n teams.
For example, now Arash requests the Skype chat with sara for Problems. Why atash don't using IRC? Because Skype is more easy than IRC.
IRC also isn't a User Friendly system, which must be replace with easy to use system.

Now, i'm using this group(mailing list), via Google Group and I doesn't subscribed via Mozilla mailing list system. But my question is why some posts doesn't show in Google groups?
For example sara's post(Answerr) to this topic, sent to my email inbox, but it doesn't show in Google groups!
But Reza's post is in Google Groups, but isn't in My Inbox!
Why this thing happened? Do you know?

Hi,

We're using Mailing Lists because we want to be informed of topics
instantaneously. Even if we had a forum I had to subscribe to it by
email to receive a notification. And I prefer this over keeping a page
open in browser and refresh it once in a while to see the updates. If
you don't care about topics of a list, just unsubscribe it or manage
it through Gmail labeling system and archive them on arrival.

We Actually use IRC a lot. I proposed Skype because IRC doesn't have a
solution for talking. We could use Firefox Hello for that matter too.

The reason for emails not showing up is because Maling Lists have
limit on the size of their body (40KB), and our emails which have
pictures and attachments won't show up on mailing list due to this.

Please stop bringing up this topic while we really can't help about
this. Thank you.

Best Wishes,
Arash
