How can I send answer of a topic via mailing list?

Hi there.My email address around Mozilla is on Yahoo Mail.How Can I send an answer for a topic in mailing list.I can send message to mailing list, and it will create new topic on Google groups.Also I can answer as replay to an email which received from mailing list(A member sent to mailing list). It will be answer to that topic that member of mailing list was created.But, how can I send the answer of a topic in mailing list via my email inbox in Yahoo?On Google groups and for those persons who subscribed to mailing list with Gmail, it's easy.But how can send it via other email systems? When Google group wasn't available, how a member could do it?
