Re: Discussion of engineering mode and a general testing app

Hi all,
I file a bug for tracking this:

It's a meta bug because the work can be break into many pieces of work.
I will create more issues and maybe some API discussions according to the
hardware test items we have in hands.

It sounds good! By the way, may I know which branch we plan to land this work?

Since it's not a feature included in these branches' plan, but just
a reference app under test_apps, I'd prefer to land them in
gaia-master and m-c (for API changes). Any comments?
