Yes, we have done of our 2.6 spring 1 review and sprint 2 planning already. Please see the wiki here ..

And the topic we've gone thru in spring planning meeting are including
  • 2.5 blockers and polish.
  • Functional testing.
  • Memory consumption testing.
  • Enable Sync on the phone.
  • Roadmap definition.
  • Peer-to-Peer sync architecture.
  • User creation.
  • Passwords sync.
  • Bookmarks UX.

I was sending you the mail to ask product requirements and your preferred meeting time slot before your PTO, let me resend it to make them on top of your inbox.

For our recurring meeting time slot, there are two alternatives
  1. 10pm CST / 3pm CET / 6am PST
  2. 2pm CST / 7am CET / 10pm PST
Note that "CST" here means China Standard Time, GMT+8, (for the Taipei office), not Central Standard Time (GMT-6).

These two are the most friendly time slots for 3-continental meeting, please let me know if you got better idea for this. I will send out the invites to have recurring meeting by rotating (1) and (2) and starts right after Mozlando.

And I suggest we can have one session to have team meet-up in Mozlando. As I checked with Brianna Mark and Michael Treese, all specific rooms are fully booked but we can have Home Room w/ projector, board .. etc which we can borrow from there.  Now there is one demo session for Cloud Storage (Eden) on 12/11 Thu. 1:15pm,  how about we can have team session on 12/10 Wed. 2pm? I can still have Brianna to schedule this into SCHED, please let me know the time is good for us.

Thank you so much!

[ferjm] Thank you Aaron. FWIW these times work for me.

[ferjm] Is it possible to book/agree an area/room/space for the team to spend the in-between-meetings time?

In my experience from previous all hands meetings, finding a spot for the whole team to meet is not easy, specially on teams like this one where members are not working full time on it. So apart from setting up the team session that you are talking about, it would be great if we could spend the time that we are not in meetings working together in the same area.

It would also be great if we could have the first team session on Tuesday rather than on Wednesday. The sooner we see each other faces the better :) The week is very short! What about Tuesday afternoon around 4.30pm?

I would also like to find some time for the engineer team to meet and discuss the technical details for what we need to do on 2016. I'll send a different email for this.

Cheers,

/ Fernando

Hello All,

The times work well for me too Aaron!

I agree w/ Fernando on scheduling some official meeting times asap. I believe Michael has a slot & a meeting room for us; Aaron - mind checking w/ him & putting a few sessions on our calendars?

Being new to the "work week", I'm actually a bit lost on what to expect & how things are organized etc. I'll rely on one (or all of you) for support ;-)

Fernando/Michiel - Can you please include me on your technical discussions? I've love to glean the technical understanding as I further explore prospects/changes around product.

On a side note: I anticipate a bit of a delay in my deliverables; I've been pulled aside to work on something for Ari over the next couple of weeks; request your patience.

thanks,
preeti

Sure! I created a Doodle [1] for everyone to set the time meeting free that we have for now. This way it will be easier to set up new meetings for Data Sync stuff.

For technical discussions I think we'll need at least 4 spots of at least 45-60 minutes each to discuss Firefox Sync, Media Files, Contacts Sync and Backups.

I'll give one day to fill the Doodle and will propose the meeting times tomorrow this time.

Cheers,

/ Fernando

Would you be connected to vidyo at these time? (so is it useful to put my name in the doodle as I won't be in Mozlando?)

And do you confirm that Mozlando timezone is UTC-05:00?

Thanks !

Good idea!

Done! I already made the old mailing list (FxOS Sync) as read-only.

So which day of the week are these meetings? Would it maybe make sense to have separate meetings about "data sync for Smart TV" and "data sync for the web"?
