get toolbar from a sidebar

My extension has a sidebar and a toolbar. How to access the toolbar from
the sidebar? To be more precisely, how to access some variables defined
in the toolbar from the sidebar?

I think this is what I am looking for, a sidebar that contains any
toolbar, even menu and bookmarks.

I have made and posted "Sidebar Toolbar" but only as a skeleton, as I
am ignorant.

Any extensions available that do this?
