hello,

An important event in london : 2 days devoted to decentralization of the web !
http://www.p2pvalue.eu/2nd-floss4p2p-workshop

Cozy Cloud will be there, I hope we will present with some other decentralized projects an initiative to make our projects interoperable.
We think that the decentralized tools will fail if they don't interoperate together. Without this interoperability, the basic user will stay with Google, Dropbox & co, for the sake of simplicity.

=> if any other french people were motivated to go there, tell it, we may organise a shared logistic.

See you there !

Benjamin

Hi Auli,

Great ! we will be able to discuss in london in more details what we
expect of this "decentralized sharing working group".
There will be probably some initiatives to imagine for the OuiShare Labs
Camp.

(I put the mailing list again in copy, your information about OuiShare
Labs Camp can interest others.

Cheers,

Hi Ben & everyone,

Yes I'm now certainly confirmed and going to London.

I can see some projects on the FLOSS4P2P possible cases list that will be
participating in the upcoming OuiShare Labs Camp
<http://ouishare.net/en/events/ouishare-labs-camp-3> in Paris, and the
London workshop would be a great opportunity to contact a few others, also
to start some discussions/roundtables that we can possibly continue through
the Labs Camp and beyond.

As for the Labs Camp, I know here are some from this mailinglist already
involved in its orga or program, and I hope many more will join! We're
working on a program draft and will soon be able to provide info beyond
save-the date. Meanwhile if you already feel that you want to be part of
this with your project or workshop idea, please get in touch!

to #d14n,

Auli
