New verify email change feature + automated test issue

Hello,
On Mozillians, when changing the email and updating the profile, you are required to verify the new email by signing in with the account that it is associated with.
In mozillians-tests issue #172, we are using disposable accounts to change the email, which is creating issues in the workflow of the test. For now, we are keeping the test as verifying that the email verification page shows up.
Directed towards the dev team, what do you guys feel like the test coverage should include on this feature? do you guys already have any test coverage in this area, or will this test be the only thing monitoring this feature?
