Thunderbird: Error remaking makefiles (ignored) / No rule to remake missing include file ../../../src/config/baseconfig.mk

Hello,

trying to do clean build of Thunderbird comm-central/mozilla-central
using Visual Studio 2010 Express recently fails for me with the
following error:

I'm actually not sure when the problem started because I have not tried
to build in a few weeks. Only change I made recently was adding
--disable-gamepad because I got configure error about missing DirectX
SDK instructing me to set this option.

Any help or hint is appreciated.
