Firefox crashes a lot when it runs out of memory.

1. Disable PAGEFILE.SYS
2. Use firefox to web browsem
3. Use multiple tabs.
Soon firefox will run out of memory, once it does it crashes !
Relieing on PAGEFILE.SYS is ultra lame, it's slow as hell.
Also for big harddisk systems PAGEFILE.SYS no longer makes any sense.
My recommendation is:
1. Windows should perhaps issue low memory warning to user.
2. Windows should slow down any program consuming lots of memory in a low memory situation to give the user a chance to shutdown that application or to free up memory somehow.
3. Windows chould even freeze an application before it fully runs out of memory.
4. Firefox should learn to handle out of memory situations.
5. The C/C++ programming language should be changed to handle out of memory situations much better.
