Define date when a message should be sent

I want to turn your attention to bug 122519, which seems to be abandoned.

This RFE proposes to set a date on which a message should be sent. It
would then be possible to choose File - Send Later and select when
exactly the message should be sent.

This looks like a useful feature to me. Does anyone agree with me? I
actually don't know who the owner should be (it's assinged to nobody),
but maybe there is a way that the bug will find more attention.

I wonder if scheduling an event like this would logically be part of an
integrated calendar?
