With TB2/TB3.0b4 for the startup page I have a
"file:///D:/_Mozilla/jQ/someActions.html" which includes JQuery/JS. It
will be lunched as expected.

Here are some observations with TB3RC1:

1. Starting TB3RC1 will show the page in the message area as known from
TB3/TB3.0b4.
How about the statement: JS is disabled "totally"?

2. using F8 to switch the message pane on/off doesn't work. Using once
the function from the main toolbar, successive usage of the F8 key works.
This effect isn't true with the "standard" link like :

http://live.mozillamessaging.com/thunderbird/start?locale=en-US&version=3.0&os=WINNT&buildid=20091121183158

3. The specific startup page has an link to itself like:
"file:///D:/_Mozilla/jQ/someActions.html?{parameters}". Using this will
ask for an application to launch that call.
I expected TB now displays pages in the message itself .. without
calling another app/browser (like FX).

Any thoughts about those points?
