Status of 3.0a1 and address book

Hi,

I'm wondering what the state of 3.0a1 is, does it have lots of known
bugs, or is it at the point where the developers think its pretty much
working.

The reason I ask is that I downloaded the latest version - for Mac -
and find that the Address Book is completely empty, i.e. its not
reading the existing 2.0 address book.

If it works for other people, then the difference might be that I also
use the OSX extension on 2.0, and have that set up in my preferences.

If its an uncommon bug, and I'm the first one seeing it, then any
developer could contact me (by email m i t r a AT m i t r a DOT b i
z ) and I'll help track it down.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433264 so we'll track the
problem there.
