Can't send e-mails after upgrade to RC1

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems sending e-mails after
switching from beta4 to RC1.
switching from beta4 to RC1.
Every time I try to send by clicking on the send button, a dialog
appears telling me that sending failed and that I should check the
account settings. Switching back to beta4 resolves the problem.
Saving as Draft also doesn't work - it fails with the same error
message. Receiving e-mails is fine though.

If you have Enigmail installed, make sure to update to the latest
nightly builds.
