After I tried to update my local C-C tree 10 minutes ago or so,
I have found that a few directories became empty.
|hg| did not report any issue.

E.g.: mozilla/comm/mailnews/base/search/{public,src} became empty. The
directories exist, but no files underneath.
I noticed this because a couple of local patches for the files under
|src| failed to apply now.

I did notice that while I was updating M-C tree just before updating C-C
treet,
|hg pull -u| hang for a minute and so I had to kill it.
I restarted it and then it worked all right.

I did not experience any such delay when I ran |hg pull -u| for C-C tree
afterward.

I checked searchfox and mozilla/comm/mailnews/base/search/{public,src}
and files undeneath seem to exist.

Hmm. I wonder if there was a server side issue. (But the built-in
checkes in mercurium would have detected it.)

Has anyone experience anything similar?

TIA

Yes, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=875059 shifted a lot
of stuff.

I see. Thank you.

Ouch, I need to fix the local patch queue pretty much.  :-(

On the bright side, a nice set of mechanical tasks during summer recess.

Summer is over.

Halloween candy has been in stores since the end of July. Today I saw
Pumpkin spice cereal, and decorations are for sale at the local hardware
store.

Work fast! ;)

Oh, well, I have been working from home most of the time during last
couple of months. I may have missed the progress of season. :-)

Actually, in Japan, the summer came late. July was full of rainy days.
Usually rainy season ends earlier in July.
I don't think I saw blue sky in July at all this year.
Suddenly the rainy season was over and heat went up at the beginning of
August.
But due to Covid-19, some people including myself did not take popular
"obon" or "bon" break in the middle of August. Instead, I am finally
about to take summer break later this week.

So to me, summer is still there. :-)

But, yes, I will try to work fast. Otherwise, the local test can't run
at all. :-(

The fix turned out to be relatively easy once I sat down to take care of
the changes.
I am now testing the patches are OK locally (which didn't turn out to
work well for the mochitest case due to some configuration issues under
Debian GNU/Linux.) and on tryserver.

I have a few persistent issue with LDAP library, etc.

But as far as the directory layout change is concerned, it is now taken
care of.

Thank you for the information and encouragement. :-)
