Firefox 31.2.0. ESR

I just updated Firefox 24.8.1 ESR to Firefox 31.2.0 ESR. When I tried a
backup with Mozbackup, Firefox still identified itself to Mozbackup as
24.8.1. I searched the Windows 7 registry and hacked all instances (two
of them) of 24.8.1 to read 31.2.0, and this time Mozbackup correctly
saved the backup as 31.2.0.

However, when I tried to update RoboForm, it told me that its latest
version is not compatible with Firefox 31.2.0 En-GB, and to update
Firefox to the latest version. I don't know why that should be (I've
written to RoboForm and await a reply) but it is obviously related
somehow - maybe the versions number is hidden away somewhere else and I
haven't found it?. Anyone had a similar problem with Firefox not
updating its version numbers and causing trouble as a result?
