Experimental Theme Builds

Considering the fact that the Firefox UI is set to undergo a massive
overhaul, wouldn't it be better if the UX team have a separate branch
like Electrolysis, Tracemonkey, etc.

In my opinion this will help the UX team to experiment more and
implement new ideas while eliciting more worthwhile feedback. Firefox
UI usually lands near the middle-to-end of the development cycle and
has lesser priority than other core components, which invariably has
show-stopping bugs requiring more manpower and attention.

I am neither a developer nor a designer, this is not a critique just a
suggestion.

Good suggestion!

We plan on either doing this, or more likely experimenting on try server
with regular merges over to trunk.

More plans for the implementation of the new theme will be finalized in the
new year.
