I can no longer copy and paste something from or to an email in
Firefox 3.0.11. Now if I want to sent someone a link to a page I am
viewing I can copy it, but paste is not available. It used to work
fine in my older version of Firefox.

Hi Nancy,
What webmail email site are you talking about.

If you did actually copy something to the clipboard then try using
Ctrl+V in Notepad, or for something quick to see in the search bar
as long as something is on the first line, because that is all you will see/have.

There are webpages that try to prevent you from copying or even
from using context menus. You can control context menus
Tools, Options, Advanced (next to JavaScript)

Restore Context menu (bookmarklet)
https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/zap.html

or this javascript:void(document.oncontextmenu=null\)
